The overall aim of the SHOEMAN consortium is to contribute to better qualified professionals in the European Footwear Industry by developing a cross-disciplinary training program, combining professional and transversal skills associated with entrepreneurship, innovation, both technological and non-technological. In general, the project is intended to address both technological and non-technological issues, from basic to new technologies, and from fundamental managerial skills, financial or project management skills, to issues pertaining to health and safety at the workplace, as well as social responsibility and traceability throughout the value chain.
