Shawnie Grant is a global strategist and fashion industry expert with over a decade of experience in design, manufacturing, and international trade. She began her career in 2009 by founding Tailored Hearts, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women through fashion. Since then, she has led ventures including Tailored Boutique INC and Explore Global Manufacturing, expanding her reach into media, product development, and global sourcing.

Having lived and worked in China, Morocco, and Vietnam, Grant brings international insight to her signature course and book, Fashion Beyond Borders: Exploring The Global Fashion Industry, which is taught globally and sold at major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Texas Southern University and pursued international business studies through the University of Houston MBA program. Her mission: to help others succeed in designing, manufacturing, and distributing their own brand.
