My name is Dr. Shannon Johnson.  I have studied art and fashion for over 25 years, as well, I have been and educator in the field for 15+ years.  I completed my doctoral degree in Higher Education in 2013 and a Master of Science degree in Art and Design in 2002.  My undergraduate studies include, art history, fine arts and fashion design.  I was lucky to be able to study in Florence, Italy in the departments of Florentine Art and Fashion Design where I explored architecture and fine clothing goods as art.  I have a passion understanding where and how important works evolved.  Teaching is my way of giving back and sharing knowledge.  I believe being and educator opens up new and exciting avenues for me to grow and enhance my expertise.
