Rui has been developing software for the past 10 years. He worked as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Architect and currently works as Project Manager and Team Lead at ArcelorMittal.

He specialised in backend development and architecture and has been working with Java and Python most of his career. He understands well GitLab and Azure DevOps and has worked with Azure cloud for the past 3 years.

His full time job works in his favor - he understands the challenges Engineers face in their jobs. Frameworks, tools and services evolve at and extraordinary speed and real world use cases are not always as simple as they seem.
