While Rose Scott's qualifications are finance-based, her true passions lie in writing, skills transfer and watching the miracle of people awakening to how intrinsically confident and capable they truly are. Rose is a registered accountant and tax practitioner whose expertise is grounded in over 25 years in the commercial and financial sectors. She earned her B.Compt degree through UNISA in 1992 and completed her B.Compt (Honours) in 1994.
Rose started her professional career at Price Waterhouse as an Articled Clerk, before opening her first consulting company, Allberry Consulting, offering a range of financial services, from complex accounting consolidations for mergers and acquisitions to developing and implementing improved workflow systems and training staff. She has also worked in the property sector as a Financial Consultant at Zenprop Property Holdings and with Pam Golding Properties.
In 2009, Rose returned to the financial and accounting sector and started her own consultancy, called mi19, offering financial, operational, HR and change management consulting services to businesses and individuals. In 2011, Rose relocated from Johannesburg to Plettenberg Bay and started a new business providing services as an independent accountant, tax consultant and business mentor to companies based in the Garden Route.
Rose's experience and expertise in Financial and Corporate Change Management have been key to the development of The JOY Matrix training programmes. They represent the culmination of her years of corporate financial experience, combined with extensive study of human development and change management. She is currently developing a collaborative role for herself at both the local and national level to combine her deeply transforming programs with consulting, in order to build hope in the hearts of the generations that follow.
