I’m a graduate in English Language and Literature from Oxford university, and I’m also a teacher with over 20 years’ experience of teaching students of all ages. I have taught EAL around the world, and have spent the last 15 years working in the English secondary school system, teaching English language and literature GCSE and English literature A level.

My students are motivated by my “charisma and genuine, enthusiastic love for literature”. I have been described as “the most inspiring teacher I have ever had.” My belief is that students in the modern world are fully capable of learning independently using the wonderful technologies at their disposal, as long as they have the right teachers to guide them towards how to learn effectively. I believe I am one of the teachers who can do that.
