Dr. Ritu Sangal is a vibrant force in the world of art and education, whose colorful journey unfolds in the bustling heart of Delhi, India since 1978. As a distinguished senior faculty member at Ruchi's Institute of Creative Arts in Allahabad, she has infused creativity into the curriculum.  Ritu has Co-authored course content for distant mode Textile Design and Home Craft Courses for Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University.

In 2014, she co-founded Culture Chauraha, a dynamic art studio that has blossomed into a sanctuary of inspiration for artists of all ages. The annual exhibition, "Through the Eyes of a Child," launched in 2004, is a heartfelt celebration of young artistic talent, reflecting her unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of creators. Dr. Ritu seamlessly transitioned her teaching to online platforms in 2009, and in response to the challenges of the pandemic, embraced Google Classroom in 2022, ensuring her students continue to shine brightly on their artistic journeys.

Dr. Ritu explores diverse mediums, including intricate embroidery, delicate lacework, vibrant clay creations, and expressive oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. Her teaching philosophy is a vibrant tapestry woven from the experiences of her students, where each individual contributes to her growth as an educator. Her artwork has graced prestigious venues, including the President House of India, and has found a cherished place in numerous private collections. She has also been honored with the esteemed Delhi State Award for her stunning Tanjore Paintings.
