Dr Rita Rangnekar, Dean, IBACO , IBS Mumbai has over 30 years experience in HR, Management Education, Business Operations, L&D, Behavioural & Communication Skills Training, Soft Skills Development, Corporate Branding and English Literature.

She holds a PhD in Management, and has worked in sectors such as  IT, ITES, Hospitality Management and Pharmaceuticals, with companies such as Mahindra Days Hotels and Resorts.Ltd, Datamatics Technologies Ltd, Croslands Research Labs( Now Ranbaxy Laboratories) .

She teaches courses such as Performance Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Training & Development and Soft Skills and others.  She has designed and conducted training interventions for major corporates on Emotional Intelligence, Oral & Written Communication, Self Awareness & Team Building and Business Etiquette. She conducts Faculty Development Programmes in Personal and Professional Effectiveness, Role Effectiveness of Teachers and Mentoring Skills.

Her research areas are Training Transfer, Learning Transfer, Performance Management, Emotional Competence, Language Training, Soft Skills and Management studies
