I hold a Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication and spent 18 years teaching in the college classroom—but my real passion is helping people feel at ease in their own skin.
Today, I work with socially anxious adults who want to create and maintain relationships they truly enjoy—without pretending to be someone they’re not.
Social anxiety often comes down to communication. It’s not that you’re “bad” at it. More often, it’s that the way people communicated with you in the past left you feeling like something—maybe many things—were wrong with you.
My role is to help you see the truth: no one else gets more of a say in who you are than you do. Together, we’ll work to quiet the old, unhelpful voices and replace them with skills, perspectives, and confidence that allow you to connect authentically—and actually enjoy it.
