Rebecca Chabot is the founder of Pure Yoga Tasmania. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500hrs, holds a PHD in Ecology, and is a proud mother of three active young children.
Born in Mississippi, Rebecca began studying yoga and meditation in Seattle, Washington over 25 years ago. She has been teaching regularly for the past 12 years, in both Australia and North America.
Rebecca is recognised by the international yoga community as an exceptional instructor who fuses yoga, meditation and philosophy in an accessible and relevant way.
Using yoga and meditation to heighten awareness in the body, mind, and heart is Rebecca's passion. She weaves breathing, movement, and stillness together to help students become conscious of the present moment, generating greater levels of happiness and peace.
When not on the mat or with her children, Rebecca enjoys ocean swimming, surfing, running, and travelling the world.
