Hi, I am Dr. Ranjith Pillai working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering , SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM University). I am involved in teaching and research. My research domain includes robotics, control, IoT and AI. I head Motion Analysis Research Lab which focuses on Robotics and Mechatronics projects. Many students work in my lab in various research projects. I also have an experience of working in government sponsored projects from DRDO and ICMR. I am also a founder of an Ed-Tech start up "TechSutra Labs Private Limited".

As a passionate educator, I feel very excited to share my knowledge in every possible way. I truly feel the importance of  integrating the hands on experience in every course. This bridges the gap between the theoretical and applied knowledge. I have ensured that all my courses will have either simulation contents or hardware implementation to provide an all round learning experience.
