Dr. Rajiv LB Roy has written five books on the Indian stock market, is an NISM-certified equity research analyst, and is also registered as a mutual fund distributor with AMFI. He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering. Before entering the share market, he spent seven years as an assistant professor at a university and two years working at Guwahati Refinery. He first entered the stock market in 2009, became deeply passionate about it, and left his job in 2016 to focus on stock market.

In addition to being an author, Dr. Roy is a passionate educator, reaching thousands through his YouTube channels "Updex" (in Hindi) and "Updex Assamese." Through these channels, he teaches everything about the stock market, from the basics to advanced trading strategies, in both Hindi and Assamese.
