I am Rahul Bhat, a consultant for electromagnetics and multiphysics simulations, and Director at Ingenius Technologies and Consulting Pte. Ltd. I am an engineer and a tinkerer at heart.

I did my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, with focus on low frequency electromagnetics. My doctoral work was on magnetic field effects in vacuum circuit breakers. I worked at COMSOL India as an Application engineer, where I acquired my proficiency in COMSOL simulations.

I have a 9+ years of previous industry experience, working on switchgear design, electric motor drives, embedded systems, antenna control systems and electromagnetic analysis. I have 5 industrial patents, 4 international journal publications and multiple international conference publications.

My interests are in current interruption phenomena, switchgear, electromagnetics, FEA, and electronics design.
