The course is created by Dr. Rahul Kapoor, Founder and Director of Turnip Innovations. He has over 14 years' experience as a patent professional in research, analytics, consulting and education. Dr. Kapoor is the data architect of IPGRAM, a Patent Search and Analytics platform covering over 100 million patents. The platform was acquired by a UK firm in 2021.

Dr. Kapoor has a PhD in Innovation Management from LUT University, Finland. He has over 15 research articles on patent information published in reputed international journals. He has been a Visiting Research Scholar at TU Berlin and ULB, Brussels and has worked at the cutting edge of Patent Analytics field.

Currently, he runs his own Innovation, IPR, Entrepreneurship courses and events company Turnip Innovations. He is an Adjunct Professor at IMI Kolkata, India, managing innovation, incubation and industry-academia interface.
