I'm Priya Mahajan, a Data Analyst, the founder of The PyLabs, and an educator by passion. I bring my professional expertise and real-world experience directly into my lessons. Teaching is where my heart lies, and my journey as an educator is deeply personal. It began in 2024 when my son was taking AP Computer Science A as a freshman. He could grasp the concepts orally but struggled to apply them practically—he couldn't write code on his own, solve Free Response Questions (FRQs), or debug errors. By helping him understand the coding framework in Java and practicing daily, he mastered the entire syllabus in three months and earned a high score on the exam. Not only that, but I also mentored a few of his friends, and they all achieved great results.
This experience solidified my confidence that I could help more students bridge the gap between theory and practical application. I've since mentored many other AP Computer Science A students, with many earning scores of 3 and above on their exams.
