Having tutored for years, taught swimming for many years,
and taken on the classroom in high schools and universities,
teaching has been an avocation.

I graduated from Penn State with BS and MS degrees in petroleum and natural gas engineering. I’ve spent ten years studying America’s energy picture. I’ve lectured on energy at colleges, universities, conferences, and events.

My studies in computer programming led to knowledge of a host of programming languages on every type of platform.

My programming experience covers over forty years, with over thirty years as a software developer for the largest telecommunications and cable companies. I prefer Python, developed with it for fifteen years, and taught many Python courses for employers.
