About me
Philip “Ryan” Park is a seasoned Business Systems Engineer with a decade of experience in supply chain management and profound expertise in ERP and MES systems, including areas like inventory management, quality assurance, logistics, shop floor control, and MRP. His background in Python programming and ODBC SQL for ETL pipelines, coupled with his skill in implementing machine learning algorithms in manufacturing environments, allows him to consistently drive process efficiency and improvements. His aptitude for leading high-performing teams and his strong communication and interpersonal skills make him a valuable addition to any organization.
Ryan's career trajectory has seen him work for renowned organizations like Cyclonic Valve, NORDAM, Honeywell UOP, and General Electric Oil and Gas. His impressive tenure at Cyclonic Valve as a Business Intelligence and Supply Chain Manager was marked by his successful optimization of scheduling and inventory management processes using algorithmic and Six Sigma approaches. His intelligent use of AI and machine learning techniques resulted in substantial improvements in forecast accuracy, operational efficiency, and inventory optimization.
His experience at NORDAM as a Business Systems Analyst and Project Manager furthered his proficiency in SAP quality management processes, with notable accomplishments in reducing material risk and streamlining inspection lot processing time.
At Honeywell, Ryan contributed to transforming the procurement department to a world-class standard by implementing a fully automated purchasing system through SAP. This led to his appointment as Project Sourcing Specialist and subsequently, the lead of the e-Auction team for the US, India, and China offices. His time at General Electric Oil and Gas and Baldwin Acoustics further honed his skills in inventory and purchasing principles, supply and demand analysis, and vendor relationship management.
Earlier in his career, Ryan served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, where he was recognized for his outstanding contributions in various roles such as combat medic, family medicine, and supply petty officer.
Ryan holds a Bachelor’s in Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University, a Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt from Honeywell, and certified in Production and Inventory Management from APICS. He also holds a Quality Standards Completion certificate from ISO 9000 and an AWS Certified ML from Amazon Web Services. His pursuit of continuous learning and dedication to his craft is evident in his extensive education and certifications.
