Pawan Negi holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Silchar. He began his career at Zeus Numerix, where he spent three years working on R&D projects for the defense and aerospace sectors. He later joined Siemens PLM Software and gained valuable industry experience before pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay. Following his doctoral studies, Pawan worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he also taught several mathematics courses. His research focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and numerical methods, and he has led multiple projects and published papers in these areas. Pawan is passionate about open-source tools and making advanced simulation techniques accessible to a broader audience.
