I currently teach Spanish language and culture at a private liberal arts college in the United States. I learned Spanish while living in Chile and continued to study the language upon returning to my university studies.
After earning my bachelor's degree in Spanish, I went on to complete a master’s degree at Brigham Young University where I specialized in language pedagogy. This specialty allowed me to focus on the science of effective language teaching and learning. My sub-specialty is in the area of technology use for second language acquisition. I'm currently working on completing my doctorate in the area of bilingual and English as a second language education.
