Dr. Munadil Al-Sammarraie received the B. Sc. degree in Public Administration from Baghdad University, Iraq (2002-2003). Moreover, he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in (2008) and Ph.D. in Management Information System from University Utara Malaysia (AACSB) in (2014).
In fact, he working as an instructor of the MIS (Management Information system) course at Fairleigh Dickinson University (AACSB), Vancouver, BC, Canada, since 2019. Additionally, he worked as an instructor in Cornwall Ltd (Canada). And also worked at Enbright Consulting Inc (Canada). He certified as a QuickBooks Online expert (Canada).
In addition, he participates as a volunteer at Simon Fraser University - SFU team at SMARTER TOGETHER /THE SMART (Canada). Similarly, he joined S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as a volunteer business mentor (Canada). Moreover, he participated in and successfully completed the SPARK program (Canada).
Also, he is an editor of the International Business Information Management Association (IBIMA) Publishing (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016), and has published many articles in national and international journals and conferences. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
His main research interests include information and communications technology, security, sustainability, smart city, internet of things, and digital economies.
He is very active in research projects in the area of Information Systems Evaluation, Electronic Government services, web design and evaluation, and e-Magazine. He has vast international teaching experience as a lecturer in different counties, different universities, and colleges.
Furthermore, he taught different subjects, including; Management Information System, Electronic commerce, Strategic Planning, Seminar in Management Thinking, International Finance, Business Simulation, International Trade, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Purchases Management, Control, Lab Management.
He supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas of information systems, management, and business.
