Hi there!

My name is Michael.

I am an engineer by trade, college teacher by day, and programmer and game developer by night. I teach engineering technology, computer science, physics, and game development at the college level in Canada.

I love everything programming, games, and software, and I try to spread that enthusiasm in my teaching process. Mostly I like to teach by showing or doing, but I also spend a lot of time talking about the "why": most developers who get past an intermediate stage know all about the "how", but sometimes get lost in the larger motivations for why we do the things we do!
