Hi! My name is Maryam. I'm a 15+ YoE seasoned embedded systems engineer with a rich background in firmware development, signal processing, hardware architectures, FPGAs and computer vision. I've honed my skills in both academic and practical settings.

Currently, I'm a freelancer embedded systems engineer, offering services that involve AMD FPGAs, as well as ESP32 and Nordic microprocessors.

For ten years, I worked at academia as an spectroscopy instrumentation researcher. As part of my past work, I used Xilinx FPGAs extensively, for custom IP cores I made as well as full embedded systems with soft-core microprocessors. Also, I was an assistant professor, teaching Digital electronics with CPLDs and Digital systems design with FPGAs. So, I know how steep FPGA learning curve can get, and how to make this process smoother.

In teaching, my goal is to publish courses that go beyond isolated tutorials, make you think deeper about embedded architectures, and show practices that go in real-world embedded systems.
