About me
Dr Martine Abboud is an Enterprise Fellow at the Mathematical, Physical and Life Science Division at the University of Oxford and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Lebanese American Univeristy. Her work is interdisciplinary and lies at the interface between science and business. She has been very active on the international educational and outreach fronts and believes in the need for modern educational systems that offer real-world life skills. Dr Abboud's scientific and entrepneurial work have resulted in over 45 peer-reviewed publications in high impact journals and have led to receiving grants and international recognition – including being listed on Forbes 30 Under 30, being named a young leader in the Periodic Table of Elements, being recognised as a Future Leader by the American Chemical Society CAS, and receiving the first ever Eddy Fisher-Lindau Nobel Laureate Fellowship. Dr Abboud has an entrepreneurial mindset and is the founder of Creo Incubator.
