As a Computer Information Systems and Cybersecurity Professor, I get to teach people how to use software on a daily basis. Getting up to speed can often be difficult, which is why I create courses to help others learn what they need to know as quickly as possible.
I focus on hands-on, practical learning to ensure that you can actually use the skills you learn immediately after completing the course. I want to help you understand what you are learning.
Before becoming a professor, I worked in consulting and data science. I have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, an MBA and hold a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
Some of the computing topics that I teach are:
Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access
Advanced Excel and Access
Windows Server
Data Warehousing
Data Visualization
Information Security Fundamentals
What students have said about me:
"The instructor showed she had knowledge about the subject and more than happy to share it. It showed she is content in teaching this subject. It’s like she puts herself in the student shoes and find a way to get that subject into you. Amazing!"
"I’ll tell you what I liked her class so much that if she is teaching other classes. I would choose her again! I even gotten more interested about computers than ever before and I am not a computer fan."
"Responds really fast, and explains clearly. I experienced that."
