Dr. Lyron H. Andrews is one of the first certified ISO/IEC 42001 Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS) Lead Implementors. His technology career spans three decades, encompassing roles as an engineer, cybersecurity adviser, executive, author, researcher, and entrepreneur.
The certifications that he teaches include CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CCSK, SSCP, CRISC, and CCZT.
His roles included network manager at the New York City Department of Education, senior IT director at BMG Direct, and dean of technology at BNY Mellon. His doctoral research at Teachers College Columbia found that critical thinking skills thrive in environments that support five essential elements in the mind of a critical thinker. He was inspired to develop the BeST Framework to address the disconnect between the organizational mission and the delivery of services and products.
He has integrated technology management with teaching at Columbia University and other institutions in over 50 countries.
