獨協大学外国語学部を卒業後、長年にわたりビジネスの現場で「言葉」と「異文化」に向き合ってきました。
イギリス系商社の秘書、シンクタンク研究員、専門学校講師としての経験、そして行政書士として外国人ビザ業務に30年以上携わってきた実績があります。

現在は、日本語教師として国内外のビジネスパーソンにオンラインで日本語を指導しながら、士業ブックレビュー協会Ⓡを主宰し、ビジネス書レビューや電子書籍の出版を続けています。

特に力を入れているのは、「外国人が日本人と働くときに直面する、言葉や文化のギャップ」を解決することです。

AIがどれだけ進化しても埋められない、“人を動かす日本語”を、具体的な場面と例文を通してわかりやすくお伝えします。

Hello, I’m Setsuko Shikauchi.

I have spent my career working with words and cultures.
After graduating from Dokkyo University (Faculty of Foreign Languages), I worked as a secretary at a British trading company, a researcher at a think tank, and a lecturer at a vocational school. Later, as an immigration lawyer (Gyoseishoshi), I supported foreign professionals in Japan for over 30 years.

Today, I focus on teaching Japanese online to business professionals around the world. I also run the Shigyo Book Review AssociationⓇ, where I share insights from business books and publish e-books.

My passion is helping foreign professionals bridge the cultural and communication gaps when working with Japanese colleagues and clients. AI can generate “correct” Japanese, but it often fails to move people. I teach the practical expressions and cultural nuances that make communication effective in real business.

My favorite motto is: “Learning is fun!” I hope you will enjoy my courses and immediately apply what you learn in your daily work.
