In 2007, I graduated with a Master degree in the field of Geography from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University. During my studies, I participated in many GIS projects. For a year (2008), I worked as a GIS Specialist at ESRI Polska. In 2008, I started working in the GIS Laboratory at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University. In March 2016, I earned a doctoral degree in the field of Geography. I am still working at University, as research & teaching assistant professor, where I deal with spatial analysis, Filed research, and teaching. Moreover, I graduated from postgraduate studies in the field of project management. My interests are focused on new techniques, especially efficient spatial data processing (both vector and raster) and creating new GIS tools. I am currently working on several own research and science projects. My publications can be found in both Polish and foreign scientific journals. I was one of the initiators of creating a new field of study in Poland - Geoinformatics. I am also the originator and organizer of the Academic Geoinformatics Championships - GIS Challenge.
Recently, I have taken a personal goal to create a series of courses in which I will share my wide knowledge in the field of GIS, spatial analysis and data processing in an accessible way. The new content can be expected in the coming months. See you in the courses :)
