I started using flow cytometry in 2007 as a postgraduate researcher and it quickly became the cornerstone of my first-author publications. Since then, I have operated, taught, and consulted in the field virtually throughout my career, including as a research associate in a university flow cytometry core facility and as a flow cytometry application scientist in the industry, and I have used a variety of applications, instruments, and software.
