Dr. Ku In (Kyuin) Kim is a scholar in Korean Studies and a Korean language lecturer in the UK.
She obtained a Ph.D. in Korean Culture and a Master's degree in Korean Language acquisition at Ewha Woman’s University in Korea.
She has a varied background with broad expertise in Korean studies. She worked as a Korean lecturer in Korea, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. In addition, she worked as a translator and published “Korean for Overseas Koreans (English)” by the Ministry of Education of Korea.
Her research mainly involves Intercultural competence in Korean language pedagogy. She encourages her lectures to be intellectually fun and culturally fascinating. She is currently writing a book about giving insight to future Korean language lecturers.
She is a heavy traveler, white wine lover, and foodie.
