Boon-Yong is a certified teacher and a career design practitioner. He has been teaching general studies, current affairs, career design skills, critical thinking, narrative thinking and the English Language in Singapore. His educative pursuit lies in out-of-class learning, and has occasionally written papers and presented on technology-driven or games-based learning as well as career wellness. Boon-Yong has been intrigued by the philosophy of Paco Ŝako since its creation in 2017.
