My name is Kunio Hara. I am the founder and representative of the Ho-Me-I-Ku Group, which developed the Japanese-born educational method Ho-Me-I-Ku (meaning "praise and raise"). This method has expanded to 20 countries and reached over 1 million people globally. My journey began after leaving a major consulting firm to work as a dishwasher in a restaurant, where I eventually rose to the position of manager. Ho-Me-I-Ku was developed by combining successful employee training practices, neuroscience, and psychology from that experience.
This method has been adopted by over 600 companies and educational institutions, including early childhood education centers, helping reduce turnover, boost productivity, and enhance business performance. I also support entrepreneurs and startups. Ho-Me-I-Ku has gained traction not only in Japan but also in the U.S., China, India, Singapore, Thailand, and beyond.
By practicing these skills, we hope you’ll create a more motivated and productive team. We look forward to supporting your journey in improving workplace communication and employee growth!
