Blended is a ministry focused on bringing Deaf and Hearing together!  We do this by providing resources for blended families, bridging gaps between the Deaf and Hearing communities, encouraging sign language communication, offering advocacy services, and holding weekly worship gatherings in an equal access environment.

One of our main goals is to bring blended families (of Deaf and Hearing) closer together. The primary way of accomplishing this is helping these families learn to communicate. Through courses like these, one-on-one ASL tutoring, and large events, we are blessed to see blended families come together, forming a stronger bond!

Instructor:
Kayla Pinckney has been signing for over twenty years and is heavily involved in ministry work at Blended. She started signing when she was seven years old and has taken several American Sign Language classes, including courses at Gallaudet University. Her work in the ministry includes interpreting, teaching sign language, directing major events, and working side-by-side with Deaf volunteers. Her heart's desire is to help spread the love of Christ through this beautiful, visual language.
