Katie is a true testament to dedicating her life to her work. She understands the blend of entrepreneurship, passion, and community. She continues to perfect and expand a full relaxation experience for each client at her day spa where a visit is meant to be truly timeless. This comes from a complete understanding of the spa experience from front desk to manager, teacher, and expert service provider for over twenty years.

She is certified in a variety of services including reiki, massage, esthetics, and specialized services like diabetic pedicures and oncology services. Katie became aware of both healthy diet and healthy skin treatment at a young age. She keeps her spa products toxin-free and doesn’t use machines for treatments because the best healing touch is provided through the hands. The focus of her day spa is an extension of her personal experience and observation of the stress women endure daily. She works as a stress specialist guiding staff to train with this same approach. She encourages these principals where she shares her expertise teaching at a local college as well.

Celebrating her spa’s fifth anniversary in 2020 Katie added a partner business, Holistic Approach Store, that continues her trend of community support, sustainability, and chemical-free living into a retail and online store offering locally sourced foods with nutritional density. Carefully selected retailers provide the base for easily indexed foods by categories like keto, vegan, and gluten-free. She now offers healing inside the body to match her healing approach on the outside.

This holistic, stress-reducing approach can be seen in other areas of her life where she is inspired to provide community initiatives. Her connection to seniors began in her early life with frequent visits to the nursing home where her father was receiving care. This launched a successful ‘Santa for a Senior’ campaign she coordinates each holiday season. She also facilitates workshops, events, and online interviews focused on women and mental health. She is proud of her 2017 Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year Award, and the inspiring business recovery as a new manager of a large Ontario spa before opening Timeless Harmony. Her true joy, however, is aligned with community work, satisfied customers, and family.

Her family life dictated the flow and growth of her entrepreneur journey, with a young family taking precedent over starting Timeless Harmony earlier. Now grown and building their careers, Katie is a proud mother of her two children, and has the time to now focus on her spa. She is a self-confessed “go-getter”, trying many initiatives to grow her business, with authentic care for the client experience taking precedence. With her efforts, she is appreciative of the continued support from her husband, who has been known to not just provide moral support but to help facilitate special events at Timeless Harmony. You can find them adventuring in nature when she allows herself a day off.
