Important Information:This course is designed to mimic an instructive friend helping you to learn the Mac. It is not a hyper-focused course where you go from slide to slide. It's meant to be informative, fun, and relaxed.
No matter where I go, Apple questions are excitedly thrown my way, and private lessons kindly requested. These questions and lessons have led to my colleagues and friends to call me the "Mac Guy." It's a title I cherish deeply because it explains exactly who I am; a passionate Apple professional who loves playing and working with arguably the world's best computer.
So, why choose me as your instructor?
That's a hard question to answer. However, I can say that I have worked at Apple headquarters as an AppleCare Advisor and Senior Advisor, and I have held nearly every IT position in the industry (Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, IT Specialist, Help Desk Technician). Also, I'm a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) who does cybersecurity work for NASA, and I've taught varied audiences how to be Systems Administrators with great success.
In short, I've applied my work experience and academic training (Stanford, Syracuse,NYIT) to create this course from the bottom up. It has been carefully designed to help you understand your Mac and let you quickly start working with the worlds best personal computer.
