Dr. John (Jung) Suh

Jung W. Suh is a senior principal algorithm engineer and manager in a medical device company. Dr. Suh received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2007 and has since worked within the medical device and imaging field for more than 15 years.

Dr. Suh has led numerous biomedical projects and has been deeply involved in the release of many products that are currently in wide use for patients and doctors alike. His main interests are in the fields of biomedical image processing, machine learning, and visualization. He has more than 30 journal and conference papers and 8 patents.

He is one of the authors of the book “Accelerating MATLAB with GPU Computing: A Primer with Examples”.
