Dr Joris Šimaitis is an accredited life cycle assessment (LCA) practitioner (PIEMA, REnvP), delivering LCA projects across multiple sectors such as energy technologies, transport, and consumer goods. He holds a PhD from the University of Bath, having published several research articles in world-class journals on advanced LCA methods for transport and energy technologies. As a consultant, he holds advisory and senior positions for multiple organisations in raw materials, batteries, software development and more. Moreover, Joris has contributed to local and national policy, such as contributing to the UK's Seventh Carbon Budget and working with the Climate Change Committee.
