I have been a life-long lover of learning.  Although I have extensive college training in mathematics and engineering, I also love the humanities and have spent appreciable self-study in history, linguistics, and neuro-linguistic programming.  I started my career as an engineer/scientist for NASA/Jet Propulsion laboratory, then on from aerospace to telecommunications and ultimately to designing analytics systems for healthcare.  I hold one patent and am the author of a book on dimensional data modeling. I have degrees from both Rice University and Yale University
