About me
My name is Inge Kuijper.
I am passionate about the plant world, and love to learn and teach about everything that makes plants unique and essential for us to thrive. Plants provide us with every breath of fresh air, every drop of clean water, as well as our food, medicine, and healing. I want to share the knowledge and tools of ethnobotany to help repair the relationship between humans and plants, and help document and revive traditional knowledge of human cultures around the world.
For several years I have been on a self-directed path, learning about ecovillage design, permaculture and ecosystem restoration design, quantum botanicals, herbal medicine, aromatherapy, and shamanism. In 2021 I completed my MSc in ethnobotany at the University of Kent, writing my thesis about the significance of the sedge waste (Cyperus spp.) in Shipibo-Konibo culture. I am currently living in Forest Row, England, and am working on research and educational offerings via my online platform Green Unfolding.
