About me
I am a telecommunications engineer with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the test and measurement domain, supporting Tier-1 and Tier-2 service providers, mobile network operators, OEMs, and system integrators worldwide. My work has covered complex multi-technology environments, delivering test strategies, validation methodologies, and acceptance criteria for network rollout, optimization, and performance assurance.
My primary expertise is in In-Building Solutions (IBS/DAS), encompassing RF site surveys, link budget analysis, propagation modeling, and detailed network design, followed by on-site verification, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing. I have extensive experience in troubleshooting RF impairments, interference sources, and coverage/capacity limitations in high-density indoor environments.
I am also an ETA-certified professional in Fiber Optics and Data Cabling, with strong technical depth in optical test and measurement across access, metro, core, and data center networks. My fiber experience spans FTTx deployments, core transport networks, DWDM systems, and Data Center Interconnect (DCI) infrastructures. I routinely perform fiber characterization, loss and reflectance analysis, chromatic and polarization mode dispersion measurements, and optical signal integrity validation.
I have advanced hands-on experience with professional test instruments including OTDRs, Optical Spectrum Analyzers (OSA), Bit Error Rate Testers (BERT), optical power meters, stabilized light sources, OLTS platforms, and Ethernet service testers. My work includes DWDM channel analysis, OSNR measurements, transceiver validation, and end-to-end service activation testing. I am also experienced in fiber splicing techniques, connector inspection and certification, and applying industry best practices for on-site installation, commissioning, network monitoring, and long-term performance assurance.
