Dr. Akinci has a PhD. degree in physics. She has years of experience as a physicist in both research and teaching.

Dr. Akinci works as a private tutor since 2006.

Her tutoring career started with a book she published: "Private Tutor For the SAT Math Success." In her book she developed the Private Tutor Method that enables the student to be his/her own private tutor. She tutored hundreds of mostly high school students for SAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT, AP math, AP physics, and in math and physics at all levels.

After realizing the time pressure the high school students have, Dr. Akinci developed alternative ways to solve the SAT math questions. These methods all together form the series of seven courses. These seven courses are combined under the name of Last Minute Prep For the SAT Math Success.
