I’m Guido Bua—a passionate neurologist and consultant specializing in cognitive disorders, dementia, and neuropsychiatry. I’m also an entrepreneur and a writer. My mission is to empower individuals with a clearer understanding of dementia and offer practical guidance on managing it effectively.

My educational journey has taken me from Sassari in Sardinia to La Sapienza University in Rome, where I earned a Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis Diploma. I continued my neurology training at the Institut Guttmann in Barcelona and now serve as a Neurologist in a Memory Service in London. I also work with an award-winning clinic in the UK and the USA.

As a proud member of the Royal College of Physicians and the British Neuropsychiatry Association, I’ve devoted my career to advancing knowledge and care in neurology. Early in my profession, I organized volunteer medical missions during the Kosovo War, an experience that strengthened my commitment to helping those in need.

When I’m not working, you can find me reading, writing, cycling, spending time with friends and family, or visiting my home in Sardinia. I hope to make accurate, accessible information available to everyone, supporting better understanding and management of neurological conditions, neurocognitive disorders, and overall brain wellness.
