Born in Phoneix Arizona and raised in Sacramento California. I attended Oak Ridge Highscool where I was involved with many actives. I played basketball and baseball with the school and was apart of the school tech team which had the responsibility to maintain campus computers in the class room and for the school network. I then attended California State University of Sacramento where I started by taking classes in engineering switch over to Biology. I have always been very active in building things such as cars, guitars, solar panel projects, home theater systems, computers, electronics of all kinds, and things around the house, so I figured that I could learn engineering on my own like I had been doing but that it would be a lot more difficult to learn things about biology on my own with my own resources so I decided to take Biology instead.
I have always wanted to do biological research because it seems like a ever lasting puzzle that can add unknown advancements and understanding of life for everyone. While in school I became even more interesting in computers and started taking on programming. I started with C++ but then moved quickly on to web development and VB. I Was able to use my understanding in programming while I was working at Kaiser by developing working scripts with Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition to enable us to do work on specimens without having to touch a keyboard or mouse.
I believe that my understanding of computers and programming will help me significantly when I start to do research of my own and thus I continue to develop my understanding of programming and continue to learn as much as I can everyday.
