Welcome! I am an occupational therapy doctoral student at Drake University. I am passionate about addressing both physical and mental health concerns with patients, as I believe both are vital to a successful treatment. This passion led me to my doctoral capstone program development to address body occupational disruption from oncology related body changes. I was extremely honored to complete my capstone experience at the leading cancer facility - MD Anderson in Houston, TX. I have created this course to share my research and program development in the hopes of educating and sharing the importance of addressing mental health concerns with all patients to improve quality of life.  I hope you find this course educational and inspiring.
