My name is Dr. Jorg Demmel. I am a German mechanical engineer with a technical management business degree and an engineering doctorate in the field of materials science and materials technology.

I can rely on > 25 years of industrial experience on highest level, for Volkswagen and the Fraunhofer Society, the worldwide leading Society for applied research. For my employers I was responsible for different projects and teams mainly in development, planning and QA departments. I really appreciated working together with top potentials and learning new products, technologies and methods.

Some of my biggest achievements were the developing and market launch of a new generation of products or fixtures in heat treatment industry which first time ever allowed automated part handling and fully integrated material flow.

Furthermore I developed other products like a hydro cyclone, a new car seat or a new production device or technology for folding filter fleeces, all in great teams and I hold 4 patents and I gave several lectures, in total more than 25.

Later since 2009 I loved solving the usually non-random and never before solved product and production failures in different automotive fields, like for gear boxes, steering systems and drive modules. I was proud leading some Task Forces reporting up to the executive board. During that time The Golden Cycle was born. Really proud of my colleagues and team at Volkswagen introducing successfully a Shop-floor Failure Elimination Process in three plants for about 8,500 employees.

Several assignments abroad in Slovakia, Great Britain, China and India round off the wealth of experience.

Since 2018 my home and business base as a Business and Quality Consultant is in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
