I am Dr Gordana Kierans and my passion lies in collaborating with change makers, CEOs, and government officials to facilitate the transition to the circular economy, as I firmly believe it represents the future of all businesses.

Since 2016, I have been actively involved in advancing circular transitions through training, consulting, and coaching across the Middle East and Southeast Asia. From Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, to Southern China, my efforts have empowered these change makers with not only a deep understanding of the circular economy but also essential leadership and communication skills crucial for navigating the transition.

I also firmly believe that only courageous and bold change makers can effectively implement circular strategies, leading us towards a thriving and cleaner world.

In addition to my impactful work, the success of this course, coupled with the entrepreneurial spirit of my husband (a serial entrepreneur), motivated us to co-found EntrepreneurCircle(dot)World, a membership platform serving as a networking hub for circular entrepreneurs and investors.

Prior to embarking on my circular economy journey, I spent over a decade bridging the gap between leading business schools and the industry.

Though I hail from Croatia, my life's journey led me to reside abroad for three decades, with stints in Italy, Germany, Belgium, and China, before returning home. I completed all my studies in Germany, including my Doctorate, and am also an Alumna of the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. Additionally, I had the privilege of delivering a TEDx Talk in Groningen, the Netherlands. As of January 2025, I also joined the Circle Economy from Amsterdam as one of their Supervisory Board Members.
