I am Dr Andrew Terhemen Tyowua. I have a PhD in physical chemistry (strong research strength in colloids). I have several years’ experience of teaching both chemistry and scientific writing.

After my bachelors in chemistry, I progressed straight to PhD. I had but very little research experience. As with all postgraduate students, I had to read tons of research papers to gain knowledge of my research area and also plan experiments. I immediately knew that I needed a method for reading them quickly and effectively. Because there was no such method, I developed mine and have improved it over the years as my research experience and skills mature. If reading research papers has been a nightmare, it will be over after this course.

This method has help me and thousands of postgraduate students to read research papers effortlessly, quickly and effectively. Haven authored several textbooks and research papers in chemistry in a short period of time, all of which would have been impossible without the ability to read tons of research papers quickly and efficiently, I can say unequivocally that this method works. My goal is to teach you this method in the course.
