About me
Dr. Dillon Devathasan received his DVM from the University of Adelaide in 2015. Following graduation, he completed a rotating internship followed by a neurology & surgery internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists and the Centre for Animal Referral & Emergency, respectively. Dillon then moved to Indiana, USA to undergo a three-year combined residency and Master’s program in neurology & neurosurgery at Purdue University. Upon completion, he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Neurology & Neurosurgery. Dillon is currently pursuing certification in canine rehabilitation to further assist his patients during recovery. Prior to joining SASH, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Neurology & Neurosurgery at Auburn University, USA.
Although Dr. Devathasan enjoys all areas of neurology & neurosurgery, he is particularly passionate about neurosurgery and cerebrospinal fluid disorders.
Outside of work, Dillon enjoys playing the guitar and going to concerts.
Dr. Devathasan is also the creator of TailEm Pets and The Pet Epilepsy Channel both of which serve as a platform for interaction with the pet owner community.
