Dianna Deeney is president of Deeney Enterprises, LLC, founder of Quality during Design, and author of Pierce the Design Fog: Develop High-Quality Products Faster through Team Innovation. She coaches engineers on applying quality and reliability methods during product design and development.

She has worked in manufacturing for over 25 years, developing an engineering career from the manufacturing floor to manufacturing process engineering, product design, quality and reliability engineering, and quality management systems. She is senior quality professional and an active member of ASQ, holding certificates as a CQE, CRE, CQA, and CMQ/OE. She is also a Senior Member of IEEE.

Through her experience, she recognized a gap between the people who design products and the quality and reliability expertise that could make those products better. Bridging that gap earlier in development leads to stronger designs, lower costs, and faster time to market.

Dianna founded Quality during Design to bridge product managers and designers — from entry-level to seasoned — with quality-minded people and the world's quality initiatives.

She hosts the Quality during Design Podcast and publishes articles. She also co-hosts the Speaking of Reliability podcast and is a contributing author to Quality Disrupted (Working It®- Future of Work Series) published by CERM Academy (available on Kindle).
