Demetrios Symeou

I am a self-motivated accomplished teacher who has taught many different  specifications and levels of learner over a 10 year career. I have had  first-hand experience of supporting members of staff to teach  specialised subjects and training other members of staff in new  technologies to be used within the establishment. I was also  instrumental in implementing the introduction of Moodle within my  current establishment and trained over 100 members of staff over 2 years  to its full integration within the institution. I am always ready for a  new challenge and relish in teaching new subjects and learning new  things and ways to share my knowledge with my students. I also took it  upon myself to become a standards verifier for the BTEC Next Generation  ICT qualification to ensure that I understood the new standards and  could assist other educational establishments in upholding the new  criteria. I am a highly motivated and skilled individual that has a  proven track record of working closely with team members and staff  achieving success in my departments. I am always ready to help my  learners grow to become self-actualised learners take much pride in  seeing my learner’s progress.
