Dr. David P. Zapencki, DNP, MSN/Ed, CNE, CCRN, CSC, CMC, RN is a nursing program chair and clinical educator with over a decade of experience teaching pre-licensure RN and LPN students. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership and is certified by the National League for Nursing as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). His clinical background includes critical care, cardiac surgery, and cardiac medicine nursing, with prior experience in field medicine during U.S. military service.

Dr. Zapencki is the author of the Nursing School & NCLEX Preparation Pathway — a four-subject educational series covering Dosage Calculation, Pharmacology, Clinical Judgment, and Prioritization & Delegation.
